A night of folk music on the Thames

Join us for a night of music on the Thames as we re-launch the famous Kingston Folk Barge. The Folk Barge in Kingston was one of the mainstays of the London folk and blues circuit of the '60s. It was a regular venue of musical legends such as Nick Drake, John Martyn, Paul Simon, Jackson C. Frank and Sonny Boy Williamson II.

The original Folk Barge had no electricity or toilets and was towed for scrap long ago. It's legacy remains, however, and on March 8th we are re-launching the venue aboard a modern river boat to bring you the best music London has to offer.

The boat launches from Kingston at 7pm, we'll collect fish and chips (included in the ticket price) and return to Kingston for 11pm. Join us for a magical night of musical history on Kingston's greatest old, new venue.

Please note, the event is taking place on The New Southern Belle.
